The Royal Academy for Music is a community music school with three convenient locations in
Worcester, Shrewsbury & Boston Massachusetts. Our mission is to
integrate music into the daily lives of our community and to
ensure that each of our students receive the highest quality
music education.

Many of us parents have little ones, or maybe a child in
grammar school, middle school or high school. If you
are like many of us parents, there is simply not enough you would like to do
for your child, especially when it brings excitement and joy
into to their lives. There are very
few things in this world that can be so rewarding, yet so fun and
exciting as music! Music is not just another activity, it is a vehicle
for self-expression, especially for the growing and
exploring child. Music is a
life long friend that has no ethnic, racial, or economic boundaries. Music sees every person as an
equal, and invites everyone to take part in its universal
orchestra. Music has
the power to not only stir the emotion, but it also has an
amazing way of bringing people together.
What makes for a truly complete experience in music are the
many dedicated and passionate teachers we have here at the
Royal Academy. There are such a
wide variety of personalities, talents and ethnicities from
all over the world.
A goal we all strive for as teachers at
the Royal Academy is our strong dedication and determination
in educating our students to the best of our abilities, not
only as educators in music, but as
friends, lifelong friends. To be able to take what was passed down
to us from our teachers, and to share this incredible
tradition with
our students, our friends and our family is such a rewarding
experience. There is no feeling quite
like that of sharing the things we love with the people we love. Most of all, to make
beautiful music together, as we experience and grow as individuals.
There are many opportunities at the Royal Academy, and we
hope that our students take advantage of our
programs such as joining chamber ensembles, student
and faculty recitals, master-classes and much more.
We look forward to working independently with each of our
students and would like to extend our deepest gratitude to
you for considering the Royal Academy as a possible choice
in your music and fine arts study. If you should have any
further questions about the academy or would like more
information, please contact us anytime at either of our two
locations in Worcester at (508) 755-7373 or Shrewsbury at
(508) 792-1221.
